Book Review: "The Bedroom Window" By K.L. Slater

Sit down! Let me pour you a glass of tea! This might take a while....

Look, you know K.L. Slater ain't playin' and she's here to make a name for herself.
Speaking of which you know how they say, "Don't play me for a fool."

Yes, well lets just say grab that binocular, sit right down, make yourself cozy because the show is about to begin.

We all know the bs walks and bs talks but here we have an entire family- The Williamses-who are talking and hiding something or someone.
Why?

Good question and we'll backtrack to find answers from approximately 20 years earlier.
Lottie-is one heck of a gal-with plenty resting on her shoulders. You can't faut with her can you?
She's been through the ringer, her mom left when she was only 13, and now she's facing a new dilemma.
What did you say--Poetic Justice?

Ok, Kay Price- hunny, we need to get ya some help.

Babysitting is one thing but kidnapping is a whole other ball game.

With this noted, what we must say is Neeta/Ted Williams are quite the odd couple in more ways than one.
Do they ever talk? Go out? Get along?

Welp, this whole situation with Yasmin/Graham Fuller-Claire's parents is also a game changer.
Claire meanwhile is missing?

Ted, might or might not know something but will he confess? Does he know where Claire is?
Kay Price is connected to Lottie but the terms of that contract might be up for debate.
Oh, and toss in an affair like a salad with croutons and we got some game.

Neil, I've read in other fellow blog reviewers was seen as Mr. Innocent with leg paralysis. What those folks failed to mention is how that injury came to be and why? Seems our boy isn't so innocent and blackmail is now on the table to offer.

Abandonment, isolation, and bizzare consequences lead to a host of intriguing scenarios ripe for the plucking.

The apple don't fall too far from the tree and this is clearly evident in this case.
Drinking and drugs are never a great cocktail to serve up.

Will this one end well? Could there be a hostage situation? What will happen next?
Ahhh, I love when a great plan comes together!

Kudos, KL Slater has done it again! Plenty of spicy action on this plate. Loved it.
Thank you KL Slater, Bookouture, and NetGalley for this ARC.
