Book Review: "The Guest" By Cathryn Grant

Cathryn Grant has once again shown why she deserves the spotlight in this heart pounding new thriller entitled, "The Guest."

It's a rocking good time with plenty of perfection- the perfect spouse, the perfect kids, the perfect life until it wasn't.

Meet Ace the new guy whose entered your home as a complete stranger ready and more than willing to conduct himself in a manner that may not be just so 'perfect.'

When things heat up the emotions rise and something self restraint is the least practiced item on the agenda list but for Ellie she has to keep things in check or risk losing it all.

Seth invited Ace in to live with them but Ellie was attracted to him for what reason I don't know -perhaps the element of danger- the lurking surprise of his past.

As things unfold we uncover the truth that Brandon has been accused of the most heinous unthinkable act of murder.

What may not be so well known is the behind the scenes accusations and elements of the crime that are like slow revolting puzzle pieces connecting to portray the totality of the circumstances.

When the total picture of who killed this bully child 'Jasmine' we find ourselves deeply immersed in the plot and wonder was Brandon capable of this crime of passion?

Now we know that not everything is as it appears to be and things that appear larger than life are often much less dramatic and dizzying in person.

So here we have someone who flew under the radar but safe to say some will go to great lengths to protect the ones they love.

A great new read that will wow your socks off by Cathryn Grant.

Thank you to Cathryn, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
