Book Review: "The Summer Set" By Aimee Agresti

The world is your oyster!!

It's not been easy for those who enjoy live theatrical performances but fret no more because Aimee Agresti has brought The Summer Set right to your door.

It all starts with an 'under the influence' of sleeping pills scenario in which a car plunges directly into the Boston Harbor with a judge ordering community service.

This story takes off from there in which two main characters re-join in harmony, with full blown love triangles, high intensity drama, and driven ripe with envy passion.

It's the reality of a theatre in need of saving but what if the characters were of equal need.

Home is the theatre for Charlie but Nick is the furthest thing from her mind until it becomes known that he runs the beautiful Chamberlain Summer Theatre.

Now it's all hands on stage because it's very active, delightful, and fun collaboration of ideas and the free flowing banter will have you feeling like your part of the show.

The show must go on and this is proof that the light shines bright..

Charlie and Nick are just two of the stars to watch because Nick's ex wife pays them a visit which was quite the chatter of the day.

I loved how this was woven like a fine basket weave that meshed , criss crossed and came back to center in full form.

It was quite the treat to be part of the action, the staging of the shows, as they ready for opening every night.

The tension was powerful, the energy was electric, the love was in the air.

Now, if only we could bottle it up and take it with us forever.

Thank you to Aimee Agresti, Harlequin for Blog Tour, Graydon House, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for making this the most enjoyable read of the year to date.

A must read for 2020 has arrived and I hope you find it well.
