Book Review: "One By One" By Ruth Ware

Forced silence is not the way to go....

Now take a second to imagine your perfect getaway and the boss picks up the tab....

Who wouldn't want to be snowed in with some breathtaking rustic scenery, a cozy fire, chilly temps, and all your friends inside a lovely chalet to promote mindfulness and collaboration?

Wait--What? They're 8 of your co-workers and they can't be trusted?!
OH -SNAP!

Ok- Think, breathe, CHILL!

This is how it all begins with this company retreat that turns into a nightmare from hell complete with a 'fight or flight' response that elevates the blood pressure and escalates the survival instincts.

That will to survive is the key that resonates throughout this entire process because it seems nobody is safe from harm.

One by one they seem to fall like dominoes in a sick game but why?

First to go was Eva, then Elliott went missing, now it's Inigo but will there be more?

OMG!

What if someone is harboring some deep seeded resentments, anger, hostilities towards the group?

What if the skeletons in the closet have just come alive?

What if there's nowhere to go and nowhere safe to hide?

Holy smokes this was exhilirating!

Could the perp be caught and will the others figure it out in time to save what's left?

Wait--what is this digital component I keep hearing about- what video?
Oh, you're in for such a treat with Ruth Ware!

Don't walk-RUN-To get a copy as soon as you can!

Thank you to Ruth Ware, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
