The Whittiers brings to light love, loss, and family ties that are never broken!
It begins with Preston/Constance Whittier who built an empire for their 6 grown kids. They're now empty nesters.
Lyle- eldest son- is soon divorcing with 2 kids with Amanda.
Gloria- is a Wall Street professional but single at 40 years.
Twins- Caroline/Charlie see fashion biz falling
While Benjie (28 years) is a special needs child. Annabelle their daughter is a college drop out.
We travel through time as an avalanche kills their parents & places each of their children in a precarious spot.
As we progress we find nuggets to their individualities that leap off the paper & capture our hearts. Whether it's gender issues, pregnancy, adoption, child abuse, dating/relationship or otherwise. Everyone is dealing with something that requires attention as we follow them through the trials and tribulations of life following their parents deaths.
