Book Review: "The Bookish Life of Nina Hill" By Abbi Waxman

Can a voracious reader find happiness with someone who barely reads? Can a bookworm break out of singledom long enough to enjoy life? Can the passing of a loved one you never knew existed changed your world entirely overnight and leave you better than before?

What if the world wasn't so black and white? What if there were gray areas?

"Nina had looked around and realized she would never run out of things to read, and that certainty filled her with peace and satisfaction. It didn't matter what hit the fan; as long as there were unread books in the world, she would be fine. Being surrounded by books was the closest she'd ever gotten to feeling like the member of a gang. The books had her back, and the nonfiction, at least, was ready to fight if necessary."

What I loved is that Nina lead the life of most single women with her independence, who job as at the book store, her comfortable companion --her cat-- but someone or something is missing and it may come into her life unexpectedly.

Imagine if you will a handsome young man joins your book store trivia events and even better he seems interested but sadly you're a voracious reader unsure if you can fit him into your busy schedule!! ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT THIS>>?!

Oh, my word as if this wasn't enough to wet the appetite we then have another dilemma in the fact that Nina was raised by a single mother only to learn her real father knew of her and left her a will plus an entire family of siblings....

Oh buckle up this one is one heck of a ride...
