Book Review: "The Oysterville Sewing Circle" By Susan Wiggs

Can you imagine leaving your hometown after your best friends marries your first true love only to have to return back and deal with it all full circle?

Well this is exactly the scenario here as Caroline Shelby has been named legal guardian of her deceased friends children while also being unemployed requiring the help of her family and friends.

So she forms a women's support group after her heart was broken and in this group there's plenty of hard hitting topics being discussed including domestic violence, sexual assault, and addiction.

The end result is women helping others was a nice appeal but the story bounces from personal stories of other characters to the sewing circle and back so you may feel it's a bit disjointed in parts which leaves it feeling unfinished and not quite revealing or developed as it should feel in the end.
