Book Review: "Nothing Ventured" By Jeffrey Archer

To follow in your father's footsteps or to define your own success you decide!
For William the choice was simple. Rather than become a lawyer like his dad he'd rather become a police officer with London’s Metropolitan Police Force.

His career begins with close companionship with Constable Fred Yates on the beat to bringing down high stakes criminals in Scotland Yard’s arts and antiquities squad.

When he investigates the theft of a priceless Rembrandt his career takes a drastic turn alongside Beth (a research assistant at the gallery) who has captured his interest in more than just art.

There will always be those who feel above the law and Miles and his attorney Booth feel they can get away with all but murder especially since Miles is an art collector with extensive knowledge and corruption in his back pocket.

William is clearly shown as both a detective and a family man with a heart of pure gold in this newly created piece that is beautifully written by Jeffrey Archer!

A must read!
