Two sisters and a family farm leads to a grandma making beer?Oh and throw in pies...and a crazy all over the place timeline from the 50's to current and you have The Lager Queen by Stradal.
Stradal also seems to not quite capture the essence of women in general for me so there was a disconnect especially being a non alcoholic who hasn't touched a lick of beer or pie for that matter.
It just wasn't my cup of tea no pun intended as I couldn't connect with the two main characters being the sisters Edie and Helen.
The whole idea with Edie's granddaughter then coming of age with her IP info wasn't anything that interested me either as I know nothing about drinking even in layman terms.
So for those who enjoy a good beer and a good pie this is for you.
