Book Review: "The Spirit of the Season" By Fern Michaels

For many the Spirit of the Season is all year round.

Having gratitude, loving one another, sharing in the joy's of family gatherings, helping others in need.

Fern Michaels truly is a gem as she's able to capture the heart, mind, and soul of every reader in a professional and authentic way.

I admired these characters as they were flawed yet real. Joy is our main gal who was quite close to her grandmother. When she learns of her passing and her will giving her exclusive rights to her bed and breakfast for 6 months in North Carolina.

Now most would be thrilled with this news buy Joy felt jilted having secured her own career and successfully being CEO of her nail polishing business.

How on Earth will she be able to do it all?

What really makes it feel warm and toasty for all is the social gatherings at the B&B. The commaderie is apparent from the start. The growth is Joy is visible throughout the story as the plot thickens with each contest.

The Gingerbread Contest is only just the beginning as the learning curves are fantastic.

Rumor has it during this time guests can connect on a spiritual level with those who've passed.

Somewhat skeptical Joy feels her Nana's love and perhaps the connection she has set up for her with a powerful and handsome attorney named Will Drake.

What a pure joy to read!
