I'm relatively knew to the reading world so forgive me as I've read two of the three in the 4MK series however for me this one banged it out so well that I think I'll go back and read the 1st The Fourth Monkey.
What I loved about this was reading fellow reviewers reviews because if my blogger pals aren't into it then I'm pretty darn sure it's a good pass for me as I read over 1k books a year and can't waste my time.
My friends in the book world had this one pegged as a thriller of mass proportion and they were right.
No matter the reason you must read this and don't worry if you've not read previous works as it stands alone fine in my opinion because the writing is suspenseful, the characters are dynamic, the action is thoughtful and deliberate.
It all goes down with Anson Bishop are main suspect however there's plenty here that also disqualifies him. For example the across the country crimes, the way in which the victims were killed, and more.
What got to me was the single message binding all these crimes together, ""Father, forgive me."
I don't know about you but chilling comes to mind...
If you think the party's over it's just beginning..
The hospital action is next with a virus running rampant and twists around every damn corner.
The other core piece of evidence is a diary which may just prove Bishop's innocence and perhaps pin it all on a rogue cop.
Can Barker flush it all out?
Can Sam Porter finish the job?
The action is intense, the heat is sizzling, the truth is sinister but damming.
I loved it all and hope you do as well.
