Book Review: "The Girl in the Spider's Web" By David Lagercrantz

Plenty of cyber crimes and hacking in this new world of misfits and journalism!

What one never expected was information being freely offered up vital to the US via a simple phone call with a source closely connected to the hacker.

The battle to keep August an autistic boy alive rests upon the shoulders of both Mikael and Lisbeth as Frans fights for custody of his son after divorcing.

For me the flow seemed lost in the ever changing plots and for readers not familiar with the initial work it may it hard to follow even with the introductions.

It's also not an easy read with repeated rapes being witnessed as her mother was subjected to these unthinkable and vial crimes from her own husband and Lisbeth's father.
All in all it was a good read.

It did start off slow but eventually picked up nicely and was well written.

Lagercrantz is very well known in the Scandinavian crime writing community and beyond so it's a true pleasure for me to finally read one of his admired works.
