Three years behind bars for a crime he claims he never committed.That's the story Archer is sticking with till the very end but there's so much more than meets the eye here in Poca with plenty of characters to fill in and tie up the loose ends.
Ernestine is his parole officer and once he's released he winds up meeting Hank and his sidekick Jackie Tuttle.
As desperation slowly creeps upon him Archer decides to take up Hank on his offer to collect a debt owed by Jackie's estranged father.
Simple right? Wrong! Facing down the barrel of a rifle is what greeted him upon meeting Tuttle.
Oh and Archer has eyes upon him by nearly everyone in town especially when other murders are still occurring in the same vicinity.
Ah hell, the dialogue, the plot, the action will have you on edge with a finale that was the icing on the cake as they say.
