Book Review: "The Stone Circle" By Elly Griffiths

A splendid mix of historical aspects, folklore, and archaelogical digs that may just provide clues to a nearly 30 yr old case.

It all began when Margaret was 12yo whom disappeared from a street party with the main suspect on this case being the weirdo from the neighborhood John Mostyn although nobody was ever charged with her murder after discovering her bones at the dig site.

The entire stone circle phenomenon is quite eerie involving marshes and gothic feelings but the idea is that these threatening letter being received by DCI Nelson stem from these past cases and her involvement on seeking the truth.

One such letter appears to have stemmed from Erik yet he was someone she believed died so who could possibly evoke such horror upon her now?

His son Leif is leading a current saltmarsh dig and he's the spitting image of his father.
Perhaps we all just need to move along or perhaps there needs to be closure before it can occur here.

Either way The Stone Circle will astound its readers.
