Perhaps the last person should be your first but for these sisters Mindy had her hands full and Brooke was there to pick up the pieces.
Since Brooke was unable to have children it was a no brainer to help sis with her own even jokingly offering them up for the taking.
Now the flashbacks to a traumatic day leads Brooke to question the love she once had and if she'll ever have it again with Garett.
In fact most if not all of the book revolves around Brooke and Garett more than any other character(s).
As the end result was worth the wait and I can't imagine any better way to complete this journey.
A fab read for fans of Jill Shalvis as she proves once again she still has it.
