Any child diagnosed with ADHD knows the trials and tribulations one must face and the challenges that the diagnosis incorporates for a lifetime.
It truly takes a village and this is one set example as this book leads readers into a 'comfort zone' that feels warm and inviting. While it focuses on calming and peaceful solutions it also addresses the need to be loved, to feel beautiful, to know you are not different.
I enjoyed reading this book with the lovely illustrations about 8 year old Mallory and her challenges in school that made sitting still and staying focused a challenge.
The fact she was able to find an art teacher alongside her parents, doctors, and friends helped her to be successful.
This book was written at a level that was easily understood and enjoyed for all ages which is priceless in today's world.
I do hope everyone has a chance to read this inspiring and delightful book -ADHD and Me.
Thank you to Chelsea Radojcic-Dicicco, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
