Book Review: "Usha And The Big Digger" By Amitha Jagannath Knight

I absolutely fell in love with this intricate and fully detailed gem.

The fact that this book draws young minds to the delicacy of the solar system as well as illustrates spatial reasoning and rotational math in collaboration with STEM experts was a huge draw for me.

We need more developed children's books that help weave the hidden wonders of the universe into a complete storyline such as this for children to grown, foster, and develop a love of science and math.

This story adds to the beauty by using two young sisters as they navigate the Big Dipper as two different polar opposites.

Usha sees it as the 'Big Digger' while her sister Aarti views the same as the 'Big Dipper'.
How can two children view things so differently?

A great read for anyone with children, in a teaching and or childcare setting, or any fun loving adult.

Thank you to Amitha Jagannath Knight for this lovely illustrative piece.
