Book Review: "The Big Finish" By Brooke Fossey

A restoration of faith and a big old hug for humanity!

The Big Finish is a book that will make every emotion come to the surface.

The two main characters are learning that it's never too late to change your ways.

After all what could go wrong with a grumpy old man and a young 20 year old with a troubled past?

This book brings to mind the book, "A Man Called Ove" and the desperation, the isolation, the growing old gracefully concept.

Finding your way in the world and accepting your lot in life isn't always black and white as there's often gray areas and this book capitalizes on that notion.

Family may not be blood but may in fact be your nursing home roommate and his daughter. The daughter who snuck in the room to bring booze.

It's quite a trip to see how this group moves forward and how some things never change.

Thank you to Brooke and Berkley for this gifted copy in exchange for this honest review.

I highly recommend.
