Book Review: "Ninth House" By Leigh Bardugo

A dark adult mystery that's beyond the realm of comprehension as to how an author's mind can work in such mystical and magical ways...

Kudos to Leigh Bardugo as she nailed it and made darn sure it would be superb throughout the entire slow burning process.

As fellow bloggers mentioned this isn't a book for the quaint at heart. Those who find blood and gore repulsive or who are offset at the slightest wave of the hand.

However, for those who stick around you're in for a real treat of epic proportions as this crosses over from the straight edged to the laced mushrooms and beyond.

It's epic!! As we pass through magical land vs reality and everything in between.

Grays are here to stay and surely they have something to tell us -if we're willing to listen.

But what's all this stuff with portals and transports and such darkness surrounding us?

Well, you know I ain't tellin'

But I will mention that the idea surrounding Merity and the use of such was quite intriguing to the mind.

Hey D, what about Gluma?

Snap, you got me there...

Look --NO ONE IS IMMORTAL!

"We are the Shepherds"

Surely, the trail of girls deaths will be uncovered right?

I mean after all a killer is on the loose here!

Murder for rich kids to employ a fancy clubhouse is not what I had in mind but then again if the shoe fits...

Please, let the Quiet Ones RISE!

What's up with the whole NEXUS thing?

Not giving out spoilers ....but this is an edge of the seat kind of thriller that will have you begging for mercy.

Demons are grand. Demons are unique as they rise from sin but do they always allow for murder?

Makes you wonder?

It's a combo of sulfur and sin and some magical twists...ENJOY!
