Book Review: "A Song For You" By Robyn Crawford

A powerful insight into the world of Whitney through all its high and lows!

A reminder that we are all human and we are all beautifully flawed.

Whether or not her sexual orientation and information is true isn't for me to judge nor do I care as I was curious to find out more -anything more- about a woman who so eluded us all in terms of her inner workings and persona.

She is well known for her singing, her acting, her performances but it's off camera and behind the scenes that is not so well understood.

Who was Whitney?

How did she live her final moments?

Why didn't anyone do more or could they have done more to save her from her self destruction?

Why do so many celebrities turn to drugs? Why did she continue in an abusive situation?
So many questions, yet the only one who truly knows the answer is no longer with us.
That beautiful woman, that gorgeous voice, that sweet angelic nature of her soul.

I can't be the judge and jury, but for me this book makes one wonder why is anyone's sexual orientation our business?

Does that lessen the person because he/she was gay, lesbian, straight, bi or whatever the case may be?

Why must we be so politically correct and be in each others business when all we truly want is to live a life worth living?
