Book Review: "The HoldOut" By Graham Moore

Jury Duty -- The job we all love to hate--guilt vs innocence--life vs death?

It can be overwhelming.

Jessica the 15 yo heiress to a fortune has vanished and the 25 yo African American man named Bobby is the prime suspect.

Maya the junior juror believes in his innocence and persuades jurors to see things in her light and declare a not guilty verdict to be rendered.

Fast forward ten years and a docuseries now examines the case closer with Maya the defense attorney and pitbull character who leaves no stone unturned.

Ironically, one of the jurors winds up dead in Maya's hotel room and now she herself finds herself in a similar situation as Bobby.

Can she not only uncover the truth to save herself while also saving Bobby.
I love the fast paced non stop action here.

The plot twist surrounding Bobby, Jessica, and now Maya and those closest to her were shocking and disturbing.

Wow!

Who knew?!

Just goes to show you never know...

Wonderful new novel that I highly recommend!
