Book Review: "The Flood" By Rachel Bennett

Who really killed Auryn Cain?

The storm is coming, the flooding is about to begin, the plot is about to get murderous!
Well folks, this is not just about bad weather but a sodden set of characters and plot to match that's focused upon not just the guilty but the innocent.

Nobody is without fault here as we examine more closely this intricate family of sisters. Yes four in all with their own faults.

It turns out Daniela the 2nd youngest returns after 7 yr hiatus to the family home to collect a family insurance not a dead body of her sister.

Sadly, her sister was located and now this thriller has the ear marks of death marked all over it.

It's a split timeline between 2010-2017 with characters that are dynamic and powerful following a plot that thickens like gravy to showcase both past secrets and superb plot twists.

Need I say more?

Thank you to Rachel, the publisher, NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
