Book Review: "Into The Fire" By Gregg Hurwitz

First I must note here it's a true honor to be the first to write a review for an author I admire immensely in this 5th edition of Orphan X series.

This couldn't have happened without Macmillan Publishers and the RIC program so thank you all for giving me this ARC copy.

I was engulfed in the action from the very first page and it never let up with fast pacing, hearty characters we've come to love, and a mission that was without fail.

It all begins and ends with Evan a foster child taken away from his home and inducted into a top secret Cold War program. He was trained as an off the books assassin and lethal agent code named Orphan X to keep his country safety and progressed to the Nowhere Man using his talent and skill to hide in plain sight helping those who simply cannot help themselves.

Many tried but many failed to bring him down and we've reached the point where nobody is now after him.

With that said Max is at the end of his rope, desperate, and feeling as a huge disappointment in making a name for himself and a life. He's separated from the woman he loves, he's lost in his emotions, and he's now just learned his cousin Grant has been murdered.

However, two months prior Grant handed off an envelope with instructions to take to the now missing reporter should he go missing.

WTH?

How could this all be going down this way?

No worries as Joey our hacker and Tommy our gunsmith deliver action and suspense that keeps you plugged in life never before.

Orphan X is about to go deeper into the fire and I loved every second of it!!
