Book Review: "The Tenant" By Katrine Engberg

A puppet master pulling the strings is exactly the height of awareness in this disturbingly chilling new thriller.

Katrine pulls all the punches in this twisted world in which a woman named Julie winds up dead in her apartment while the landlady Esther comes under growing suspicion.

However, the lines are blurry between victim and perpetrator here as the fog is thick as soup.

It turns out Julie had a growing secret that was kept hidden till now and threatened to destroy several lives if it was exposed so it was taken care of without another word.

Ironically the truth becomes exposed as two determined women refuse to turn away from seeking justice because this killer is no ordinary killer.

The killer carves up the faces of the victims and Annette and Jeppe both know time is not on their side as they seek a conclusion to this madness.

What turns up is shocking....

Thank you to Katrine, the publisher, NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
