Book Review: Never Look Back By Alison Gaylin

A murder mystery with a twist that brings into question parental motives and truths long held behind closed doors with videos resurfacing of the day's events.

Was April and Gabriel completely nuts or did they have motive behind their killing spree in '76 that left 12 families grieving?

It's noted the couple perished in a fire at a religious compound but was that the end to this story?

Now Quentin a true crime podcast producer feels a connection 40 yrs later and blames his troubled childhood on those murders.

Meanwhile Robin a NYC columnist is receiving death threats to her spouse after she experiences a home invasion.

What is a real shocker is the death of Quentin!

This whole issue surrounding April is out of hand and explodes beyond comprehension with aliases coming to light and abuse at the forefront for many of her problems.
While abuse is not an excuse to abuse another it can offer insight into the rationale behind the mindset of this character.

Another alert for characters to watch for and follow : Nikki aka Nicola,Elizabeth, The Grumleys, Aurora Grace, and Jenny. Each of these are crucial to the plot development.
I guess all I can say is " Impatient with his patient" might be the final say!

Enjoy!

This is a slow burn but hold on because it warms up nicely and heats up hotter than any other thriller you've read to date.
