Book Review: "The Seven Longest Yards" By Chris Norton

A fab read about life's purpose in which a life ending career setback was reformed into an uplifting an inspirational story for others.

God truly has a purpose for each of our lives.

What appears to be a set back is in fact a set up for greatness.

We cannot see the end of the road which's distorted with life's messy whirlwinds of success and failures but rest assured he walks with you and will always have your back.

Life is not about how many times we fall but rather how often we falter, dust off, and get right back into the arena to fight the good fight.

I admire his courage and tenacity to not give up on himself when Chris became quadriplegic unable to move or feel beyond the neck downward.

However, it's to be noted his wife deserves an equal amount of praise and I'm sure Chris agrees because it's not everyday that love finds a way when we are living in a depressed state.

While Chris appeared to not ask why me he did note he had plenty of family support especially from his now wife.

I wonder had he not had such a supportive structure surrounding him if his emotional imbalance would've succumb to the pressures.

What's truly remarkable is that this beautiful couple extended their love for each other through fostering 5 girls that they've come to become truly invested in during a time of so much uncertainty.

Life sometimes throws a curve ball or two yet it's meant to strengthen and shore up the weaker spots.

This is proof positive that a strong love in God and each other can overcome any obstacle with the right supportive structure as a foundation in place.

Congratulations to you all!
