Book Review: "The Hermit King" By Chung Min Lee

Three generations ruling the Peoples Republic of North Korea by silencing dissidents and using fear to subside any notion of escape with threats of war.

Folks this toxic individual is nothing more than a brutal dictator who has no problem taking out his own family members.

To keep shooting off missiles is clear defiance of someone who feels above the law however widespread famine is hampering his efforts with growing resistance increasingly becoming apparent.

Propaganda can only take you so far and light will eventually shine through the cracks in the facade to reveal the truths.

The worlds superpowers are watching and Chung Min Lee does a fab job in discussing the relevance to Soviet Union, United States, and beyond.

Many might suggest he's a crazed loon about to explode but quite frankly he's been groomed for his position using the power to stroke his grandiose ego which needs constant attention and adulation.

Much like DT they are two birds of the same and sadly both will end in similar destructive ways.

The fact that these toxic animals need praise and loyalty is not unfounded. The whole notion of North Koreans being forced to show empathy and compassion to this man is a disgrace.

Lord knows we have much the same operating behind closed doors in our nation from the highest office of the land so it's not hard to fathom.

Unfortunately in this case he doesn't have much room to advance and will be kept in check.
Thank you to Chung Min Lee, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

It was quite an interesting read to uncover some of the inner workings of this individual.
