Book Review: "Little Whispers" By KL Slater

Ready to take on the world, leave the past behind, begin with a fresh new start.

Janey thought she had it all going so far as to branch out and make friends with Tanya allowing their kids to be best buds.

Until, one day it all changed.

Janey starts to reveal herself with help from a bottle of wine to Tanya.

The very next day Tanya teen daughter Angel is seen with a much older man pushing someone into a car.

The very next day a body is found with a similar description of the vehicle in question.

Keep in mind Tanya is now the bearer of these dark secrets from Janey so she has leverage when Janey wants to reveal Angel's situation to police.

Why would Tanya not defend her own daughter even if it requires some elbow grease and a few threats to keep it all in check?!

YIKES...

Stay silent or speak out?

This was an epic thriller that had all the goodness you'd expect from KL Slater.
Janey's family is not so 'prim and perfect' as one would let on and the familiar becomes the bizarre which leads to the crazy and insane.

When the true reveal is made -it's a big blow to the heart- as 'gifts of love' weren't anything of the fashion.

Thieves, cons, and good snake oil salesman are all around so be careful where ya step!

The ending was superbly crafted with shocking caliber!

Thank you to KL Slater, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
