Book Review: "One Last Lie" By Paul Doiron

An interesting novel that explores the secrets of 'hunting' near the Canadian border.

Those secrets may have to be taken to the grave, but one thing is certain," Never trust a man without secrets."

These words echoed in the mind of Charley's surrogate son Mike as he tries to understand the severity of what might be occurring and the dangerous activities that are being hidden.

When a warden's antique badge shows up at a flea market which may belong to a dead warden some 15 yrs ago;  the stakes become raised as Mike worries for his missing friend Charley.

Could a fellow warden be involved?

The anxiety is intense. The action is severe. The stakes couldn't be higher!

This was a brilliant piece that had me engaged from start to finish.

Thank you to Paul, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
