Book Review: "Mad, Bad, & Dangerous to Know" By Samira Ahmed

Love Triangles! Stolen French Artifacts! Historical Conquests...

Talk about everything and the kitchen sink in this young adult piece by Samira Ahmed.

Don't get your hopes up too high in the romance department because you'll be disappointed.

Khayyam gets a happy ending with herself which is for the best while cute french guy sizzles out before it gets going.

Oh, well all's well that end's well and for these other issues aka relationships they weren't terrible.

Racial issues, ancestry concerns, and making one character have 'more whiteness' was probably not best to show on the highlight reel.

All in all a good read, written well, but slavery, racism, and more is a reality that cannot be denied.

Thank you to Bibliotheca for this e-read in exchange for this honest review.
