Book Review: "The Vow" By Debbie Howells

One of the hardest things to overcome is people's goodness. In fact, truth be told they don't want to believe that evil exists in the world or that people lie because they believe so strongly in that inherent goodness.

This is dangerous! If you unfortunately come across toxicity or personality traits you'll understand just how dangerous it can become.

For Amy she thought she had it all-that PERFECT life on paper-but reality was so darn different.

Matt was not who he claimed to be in fact he was leading a double life between two women.

Now, the women Amy and Fiona (as we shall call her) was in a state of fog, smoke, and mirrors in this love bombing cyclone of a relationship or 'it's complicated.'

However, you'd like to call this 'triangle' it's bizarre but not as bizarre as my own in which the ex husband messed around with multiple women throughout the marriage, gave up a baby for adoption, & had an affair with a married woman ultimately allowing her to move in while still married with him and allowed her to bring her teen son and dog while he tossed his own family (wife of 11 yrs and 3 kids) to the curb.

I digress; the story is stranger than fiction as we know Matt was Fiona's lover too and was all set to move in with her because lets face it he was having difficulty with Amy (or so he claims.).

All was working out as good as it can until a flower delivery rocked the boat.
It was an usual delivery that was left on Amy's doorstep and truly rattled every bone in her body.

That wasn't the end of the 'warning signs' as soon we uncover deeper, darker, more disturbing secrets about Matt and his entire mindset including his Modus Operandi.

Now, before we jump all over Matt surely he may not be working alone but I'm not giving out spoilers so you'll have to jump on board and grab a copy. STAT!

Thank you to Debbie, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
