Book Review: "Yes No Maybe So" By Becky Albertalli

“We might give it our all and crash and burn. But we might win. We might actually change things. And that maybe makes it still worth going for, don't you think?”

You must VOTE! For the Love of GOD! We have got to change this mess and stop accepting lies for truths because no matter how much one tells fallacies they are still untrue statements.

This was more than just a romance, a collaboration of ideas in a political arena, this was more than just about voting, or being the change, this was about getting in the ring and having your voices heard.

We can't sit by idly and watched the world go by and if you read the closing statements from this author from the home state of Georgia you'd understand it's not even about winning or losing but getting your hands dirty but doing what others talk about doing. If you win it's a bigger bonus.

There's so many armchair opinions and believe me those who never dealt with malignant narcissism squawk the loudest that it's nauseating.

I digress this story was beautifully blended with the young joining hands canvassing door to door and in the process meeting up.

Mastering activism surely is a different breed from joining the ranks in cross cultural romance for Jamie and Maya but you never know unless you try.

One thing my pop taught me was there's never a bad question as long as you ask the question.

Becky did a fab job in connecting the dots in all faucets from the characters, to the plot, to the twist and turns along the way to engross her readers.
I truly hope you fall in love with this one as I have.

I'm so grateful to Bibliotheca for this copy as it was a pleasure to read and enjoy this cute young adult contemporary story.
