Book Review: "Grudge Match" By Mike Lupica

When a gangster comes back to you for help it's probably never a good idea.

Just sayin'

Tony's partner has vanished and he needs Sunny to clean the plate, let bygones be, and help him.

Tony's love life isn't her biz but truth be told she admires this new woman in his life and feels a connection until of course the witness to this case went missing.

Someone seems to have a different set of motives and silencing by murder is not something Sunny expected.

Silence is the name of the game but will fear and intimidation cause her to stop pursuing with a vengeance?

I do believe this was written well but without having an underlying knowledge of past work other than one book dealing with basketball it was hard to follow.

Those who are die hard fans and have read most of Mike's work I'm sure will grasp this one better than I was able too.

Thank you to Mike, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
