Book Review: "A Children's Bible" By Lydia Millet

Might as well say it loud and proud- When fiction becomes reality!

So, let me get this straight- this is about rich parents who don't give a damn about their kids- and the kids must save themselves and the world?

Enter sarcasm- but not before understanding that this book is so much more than mere survival, dystopian ways, or religious connotations. This is about life, relationships, death, and more.

It's quite frankly those inner pinnings and underlying tones that resonate more deeply than any other apocalyptic book I've ever read to date.

After all when push comes to shove, would you know what to do, could you survive, shall your mental state be saved?

It's a mix of teen alienation with adult complacency for these 12 kids who are faced with a vacation with their families.

Eve is the ring leader and go to in this mass chaos as she devotes to protect her bro.

Destruction soon follows along with the storm but the 'angles' are near!
Hang on to hope!

I enjoyed every minute and hope you do as well.

Stay safe. Sending love.

Thank you to Lydia, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
