Book Review: "When I Was You" By Amber Garza

Two mothers sharing the same name, in same town, but not with the same story.

It turns out that Kelly Medina is a popular name in fact it's to close for comfort.

One day the 'real' Kelly gets a call for a well visit problem is she doesn't have a young child her son is off to college.

Upon looking for the other Kelly she locates her at the doctors office and creates a bond.

She soon uncovers some bizarre truths about this 'other woman' but it turns out her son goes missing.

As more wild things begin to take hold we uncover a twister that sizzles involving the father and it's an issue over power and control with revenge as the motive.

Relationships are all over the place as one of these ladies is in desperate need of love, attention, and affection.

Perhaps if a child is shown love, support, guidance they wouldn't grow up to be so cruel and heartless but you never know.

Nature v nurture is a powerful thing to discuss and Amber defines that theory in this magnificent new novel.

When I Was You is an explosive new thriller that I highly recommend.

Thank you to Amber, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
