Book Review: "Shadow Garden" By Alexandra Burt

When wealth can't save you and you're still locked in your own demise aka prison!

Donna, OH Donna! What have you done here?

You're a wealthy lady, you have a husband Edward (plastic surgeon) and a daughter Penelope but that's were the story goes off into the unknown as what the heck is 'Shadow Garden' and why are you there?

I realize we all have problems as I'm often told,"Suck it up, buttercup!" but I'm left with so many questions with this because Penelope was found bleeding/crying/in need of comfort.

Rocky relationship between a mother and daughter seems to unfold but what of Edward as he seems awfully distant, cold, and calculated.

More lies ahead, plenty of deep drama, with abuse and some wicked persona's.

Did Penelope 'get lost', was she harmed, did she disappear on her own? Was she dead & cremated?

Gosh!!

You know I'm in a pickle here....because as reader's we have to make the best of it and perhaps she's simply grown and moved off? RIGHT?

Could the loons please speak?

Take what's given!

GOT IT!!

I'm off but not before telling you this was rather unique and created an element of surprise with well written twist and turns that kept readers pondering what was coming always lurking around the next turn...

Did both ladies really fall? Why won't anyone tell me?
The mind plays some nasty 'ol tricks so go figure!

Good grief!

Thanks to Alexandra, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
