Book Review: "A Good Man" By Ani Katz

If you've never dealt with toxicity, masks, false persona's, personality trait disordered individuals; count yourself one lucky person.

This is not the case here with Thomas the doting, hard working, vicarious husband and father who feels he's a 'good man' but yet suffers from paranoia and anxiety from his past.
You see his past is quite dark, disturbed, and darn right dangerous!

What those closest don't see is the rest of this hidden iceberg of a man. The part he chooses to keep hidden at all costs. The part of the false sense of self that he operates from on a daily basis.

His evil ways are just part of the Jekyll and Hyde persona as if you wait long enough and survive it all you'll see the totality of the circumstances come to life in plain view.

This is why monsters are so hard to detect as it's the smoke, fog, mirrors that the victims encounter and the bottomless black pit of nothingness that's needy and wanting all the time.

The reality check here is the warning signs were provided but just in bits and pieces in a subtle way.

What causes someone to just 'lose it' and can he become whole and prosperous?
Well, ‘Our lives were good – great, even. We were happy and secure. We had everything we needed. There was no way for anyone to know – least of all me – that it would all end the way it did.’...

Perhaps, in time the secrets to the how's and why's of it all will be revealed and the case may be closed but for now suffice to say this one will propel you to a place that's quite scary yet thrilling all the same!

Hold on tight this one is a fab read!
