Book Review: "Things in Jars" By Jess Kidd

Normally fantasy doesn't appeal to me but hot damn this was good!

Think outside the box on this one like sideshows, circus freaks, the abnormal that sorta thing while going into darkness and the underworld to explore the unknown with mermaid tales, half human half animal, and the like.

I can't give it all away but suffice to say this one will blow you away with the greed, the inhumanity, the lack of compassion and empathy but also the courage and the perseverance.

Our main character is Bridie -a detective- searching for Christabel- whose our kidnapped victim and the secret daughter of Sir Edmund.

She's most certainly an odd gal with supernatural powers whose unique ways have captured the hearts and minds in all the wrong ways from collectors.

Nothing is quite what it seems in the underworld and these characters will certainly capture your thoughts in a very different way.

I loved it all and hope you do too.
