Book Review: "A Wedding In December" By Sarah Morgan

Dare to be bold! There's no guarantees in life. Don't look back with regrets but forward with passion.

I swear I have a blister from flipping these pages so quickly... I truly love and adore everything by Sarah Morgan so when this opportunity came up for an early review- Winter 2020 Blog Tour- with fellow bloggers and reviewers at ~HQN and Harelquin~ I jumped on the chance.

This is so beautifully written, eloquently worded, and superbly crafted with the holidays fast approaching it's a must read.

Now, I know what you're thinking that everything is probably all 'Roses and Rainbows' but in fact it's so much more to excite every appetite!

Those who have followed me over the years know my main genre is not romance and in fact I seek thrillers as a first line of action. Yet, this book has packed a punch! In more ways than one!

ACTION! You took the words right out of my mouth.

This is jam packed with everything from action scenes to hot suspense and intriguing romance and it's not just that old fashioned romp in the sheets. Ladies and Gents it's H-O-T!

This is a no nonsense, take no prisoners, holiday feel with a ease and gentleness that's not over bearing or obnoxious drama to the hilt.

In fact, I felt right at home with all the characters especially since nobody has the perfect life.

Look, we are all flawed (admit it)... Go ahead! I'll wait...

This is the perfect book to show that even broken crayons still color! YESSS!

Even when you can't seem to move forward it's those baby steps of progression that scream -JUST DO IT! Ever think of starting your own biz? It's in here.

Ever think of finding a new passion in life be it career, partner, or future endeavor? It's in here.

Ever wonder if you're good enough...You got the drift.
Even when life seems to have handed you a whole bag of lemons- Turn around and make the mightiest of lemonades.

Every character and setting seemed to address another piece of the puzzle, adding one more bit of mystery, adding one more piece of intrigue.

The interaction between characters is something uniquely special here that you don't often see in other works.

In fact the family love albeit of the verge of collapse was saved and strengthened by this family unit and the love they share for one another.

That big brother big sister feel with a united front on all sides is perfection.
These sisters Katie and Rosie are about to embark on a journey beyond the halls of the medical school or the school of hard knocks.

The parents while on the verge of divorce with separation ongoing is on the verge of a new revelation and outlook.

The mother in law is about to receive more than just new in laws at her secluded retreat as she's about to show them all that life is constantly evolving and changing and we must keep up with the times.

Dan and Rosie are about to learn that love is blind and that family is not always blood yet blood is thicker than water. Sure they have challenges, sure communication is a basic issue of compromise, but with love at the helm the ship still sails.

Jordan is Dan's best man but he may get a gift of a lifetime that's completely unexpected.
The problems of these two families are not permanent. The good news here is that change may be needed and everyone seems willing to try to change for the better.
While Rosie suffers from asthma her sister has always tended to her needs as the doctor in the family yet it may be time for a role reversal.

While the parents may have always been the solvers of the major issues and dilemmas they too are having a role reversal when their daughters uncover their shocking truths.
Dan may be like a brother to Jordan but these sisters are their own best cheerleaders.
Confidence, courage, charisma all the best attributes can be found in this one lovely piece of work.

In closing, " Turns out you can switch off wedding plans, but you can't switch off love."
Should you hold on to love or let it go?

That's the ultimate question posed as to accommodate one must not just think about a personal need but about a unity.

While there's plenty on the line here nothing is more important than being brave and staying authentic to you.

So go ahead- Hand in that resignation letter- open up that new biz- Be your own BOSS!
I loved it all and I'm blessed to have been able to have been included with my fellow trade bloggers on this fab journey.

Thank you all who made this possible..
