Book Review: "Crushing It" By Lorelei Parker

Sweet and tart like a good hot apple pie!!!

What is cooking up is more than anyone bargained for in Crushing It -the new works- from Lorelei Parker!

What results is one heck of a fast paced action -chick lit-contemporary fictional romance that was so enjoyable to read.

After all who wouldn't want two men fighting over them but not one that's narcissistic and egotistical.

NO THANKS!!

Lorelei manages to show all sides and dimensions of each character and with a crushing blow to the emotional department because at one point I was leaning towards a relationship with Tristan but then I wasn't and next I knew it was Alfie or was it...

UGHH...Romance is so hard to comprehend but when it works it works so good!
The back and forth worked well with the plot here and Sierra was so relatable with her anxieties in trying to overcome public speaking roles.

Sure, Tristan was a has been in college for her love interest but he came back with a vengeance during this 'tell all' diary bar slam journal event that pitted one against the other in truth or consequences scenario.

Truly a unique perspective -especially with the bar owner-Alfie- and his own past history.

A wonderful new piece by Lorelei that I hope you find enjoyable.

Thank you to Lorelei, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
