A privileged woman named Elizabeth is about to embark on self reflection while having the perfect life.
She's married with children (two daughters) a great job as a Brooklyn teacher, yet her husband struggles to build a business, bankruptcy is on the horizon, and she's always in need of more.
She never fully stops to smell the roses and appreciate what she does have and for that it's hard to fathom how she can go on without counting her blessings.
The want to have a supportive partner, to have financial security, to have a professionally fulfilled career and friendships was a bit much.
Several strong discussions are brought on about marriage, kids, parenting, financial issues, mental illness and more.
It's relatable on many levels and was a treat to read.
Thank you to Lynn, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
