Book Review: "The Persuasion" By Iris Johansen

"When Eve Duncan's daughter, Jane MacGuire, becomes a killer's target, Jane must team up with longtime love interest Seth Caleb in this thrilling novel from the
#1 bestselling author of Smokescreen."

Well folks time to break out the crucifix in the cave and get going as cults are plentiful and danger is lurking with Luca the main bad influencer and hard core criminal.

Eve's daughter Jane is on the look out for this madman whose made her his ultimate target -target for training- in his eyes.

Ironically,  her ex is a navy seal named Seth Caleb and he's determined to save her.

The action heats up and the romance department sizzles as we go from the freezer to the frying pan in a matter of seconds.

Look-there's "consequences for taking what you want."

Not everyone can simply wait around for the threat to become a reality because fine art is a masterpiece worth saving.

What makes everyone question is simple - Does Stefano have the blood lust?
After all he's simply looking for power -power over Jane- as her mentor if you will!

Could a mole be on sight?

Will Joe find this madman before he harms Jane?

Joe (former detective) has the skills necessary but will it be too late for salvation?

Niko is one of those characters that's quite full of color and vitality. However, he's not the most popular fella and Santo seems to take privy over him.
A Greek God is in the house of cards.

What could be this ultimate Nasty Plan in discussion?

Could this be more of a sexual crime than a petty crime?

In the end the camaraderie is apparent and the feelings seem mutual.

The bells toll...Iris always pleases the masses.

This read is work it's weight in gold.

Thank you to Bibliotheca for this e-read in exchange for this honest review.
