Book Review: "The Daughter's Tale" By Armando Lucas Correa

It all begins in 1939 and ends in 2015 with an eye opening ending.

Amanda's husband has just been taken away by the Nazi's while she's left to tend to two young girls Viera and Lina alone.

Luckily Viera is old enough to tend for herself but Lina is not and the decision is made to send Viera to Cuba.

While gone Amanda and Lina end up in a Nazi Labor Camp while Lina eventually escapes and flees to a French Village under a new alias as Elise.

Elise now 80 years old in 2015; becomes the central focus in the story with loving letters uncovered from her mother.

What is most astounding is the letters were written in German.

Now Elise's 7 decades of secrets begin to take shape and unravel one by one right before our very eyes.
