Book Review: "The Overdue Life of Amy Byler" By Kelly Harms

Wait are you telling me this is about an overworked, underappreciated, exhausted single mom seeking an escape route from NEPA to NYC via way of her absent husband for greener pastures and a sense of freedom for a change?

When reality is stranger than fiction it's lived through a book that mentions all the hometown greats like Allentown. Now come on folks!

No really this sounds eerily similar to my guy who shows up just for graduations and forgets the raising, the commitment of marriage, the rules of bonding and responsibility.

This is the tale of two worlds the fun loving carefree dating life of Amy v the responsible mom whose daughter and family needs her life.

Which one she chooses will probably shock you but eventually you may just warm up to the idea.

I can't give out much more other than to say life is fickle but somehow always manages to work out.

The tragedy that strikes may just be the blessing in disguise to slow one down, to make one think, to make one appreciate every day.

Thank you to Kelly, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
