Book Review: "Redemption" By David Baldacci

Amos Decker is a rookie detective whose proud to send his first killer to prison, but what if he got it all wrong!

Hawkins is the man who now claims innocence on his death bed suffering from terminal cancer.

However, pleading he's been charged with killing 4 people & his life is now on the line literally.

This is the fifth in the series and it's wise to read them in order as there are plenty of characters from the past that come back to visit.

There was plenty of back and forth in this one with many of the other characters centering around the daughter Mitzi and whether or not she played a role in her father's demise. She's quite the shady character having been brought into the scene as a druggie with a possible reason for framing her parent.

This story line goes way beyond the typical money laundering case.

It was lengthy especially the L.P. edition nearly 700 pages& for me it just was lacking in the thrills and chills department.
