Book Review: "You Must Not Miss" By Katrina Leno

I know this world you speak of quite well and I suppose others would love to join in on this secret!

It's called Near and it's perfect. It's a place where the world is made whole again, the heartbreak is gone, the revenge is explicitly yours to dish out, and the validation is restored to one's soul.

Magpie is a complex yet utterly amazing young woman who was scorned in more ways than one.

She was isolated, alone, depressed, withdrawn, and was taking on way more than she should or could in life.

Her sis was Eryn who left town around the time of Brandon Phipp's party .

This is one of those stories that I related too on many levels as some will question is this a figment of her imagination, is it a mental illness, is it something else?

Look her dad cheated, her mom is an alcoholic, her friends abandoned her, and that party well lets just say justice was served. This deals with some heavy topics such as sexual abuse, alcoholism, feminism, revenge, and more so be warned.

Folks I loved it and I suppose having been a scapegoat in a narcissistic family and marrying then divorcing the same led me to this way of thinking but wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all live in a world that was fair, accurate, and complete without injustices being dished up daily?

What if you could go somewhere and have every wish granted and every revenge dealt to those who've done you wrong?

What if this place was called NEAR.
