That was then but this is now after seeing her on the local news stumbling out of a nightclub fire.

The story takes on a personal flavor while delving into the past with this family, the upbringing, the abuse, the neglect from the parents, the rebuilding of each life.

Kit is ultimately entering into a relationship along the way and this adds a special tweak to show she may be broken but even broken crayons color.

The ebb and flow of the plot is similar to the ocean coming and going in waves.
