Book Review: "The Editor" By Steven Rowley

“I'd like to fall in love again.”

Who wouldn't want love but for James Smale he's struggled most of his life in finding love, following his heart, and processing his dysfunctional family.

Healing may be on the horizon as he's landed the perfect job a job larger than life with an editor beyond the highest bar he's ever set for himself.

J.O. is in the house, Mrs. Onassis as she's been accustomed to be called is his new editor at Doubleday books, and she's fallen in love with his new novel about his dysfunctional family.
However, James is at a crossroads in life not only with his partner Daniel, but his reflection and perhaps regret with his mother, and ultimately with Jackie Kennedy Onassis who he certainly must reflect well upon.

This is a quick, enjoyable, charming, quaint read but it wasn't as moving and emotionally riveting as I'd hoped so for that I gave it three stars.
