Goodreads - we truly need a ten star rating for exceptional quality reads - as this one has it all!When I was granted my wish at Netgalley I knew this was something special. I wouldn't have requested it if it wasn't, and it sure did deliver.
It begins with the amazing writing of Jamie Lynn Hendricks in displaying characters that are naughty and nice and everything spice. Honest to God, Jace and Tessa are as good as they come. A lying, cheating and full of flavor couple that you'll never get bored with in their daily lives. Tessa had a prior past that was quite alarming in many ways. A former ex spouse, an abusive past, and a narcissist to boot! Chalk it up -folks!
Oh, but we're not done yet as Jace can't be outdone by his own wife. Surely, his relationships are to die for and I apologize for the literal and figurative sense of the word. It's really true, some people will do anything for love. Hot damn!
As if this isn't enough - Jamie Lynn Hendricks- then tosses in the fire logs to get this baby -red hot!
Oh, smack she didn't just say she's having an affair? Or did she?...
Wait, one second - did I hear she's carrying child?...
WTH? All in the family?!
Now, wait one second as we know this co-worker affair may be in the past but now Rosita is also missing...Say it ain't so - someone just got shot and is deceased.
Ok, this is smokin' but what does Jace have to do if anything with his missing wife Tessa?
He's out looking for her and others are crucifying him to the cross. Do they no something we don't know?
Damon Moretti- is the name you won't soon forget- as he's her ex-spouse with the wrap sheet a mile long. Not only that, he's a former roommate of Jace, and he's one mad as hell individual out for jealous rages and more.
Duck for cover- bullets---gun!

Jace has just been arrested but it's not for what you might think as nothing is as it seems not even the identities or even their own id's because anything and everything these days can be forged, fudged, or made up.
Who the hell is Maribel Lopes and why is she suddenly being discussed? Say it again .. She'd kill for whom?

What was that about biology, DNA, twins -feeling the pain of the other?
Lets just keep calm everyone.
Jace would never hurt anyone - not his wife, not his friends, not his lovers...Oh, wait, scratch that ending.
We have more fish to fry and this is sizzling as the plot continues to project upward.
Who will climb to the top of this insane mountain of events?
What if Jace is innocent -has anyone ever thought of this idea? Are we so quick to pass judgement? But what if he's guilty as sin?

Why aren't the police out there looking for the real suspect? Kidnapper? Killer? Whatever...
Check everything, check out every lead, check every basement and or dark crevice...we have to find her.
Rosita -damn girl - you are quite the lover and hat of many colors.
I can't blame Tessa she's had a plate full, she made mistakes, she almost paid for those mistakes with her life and that of those who honestly loved her.

I hope you enjoy this one as much as I have enjoyed writing about it as it's a well blended, superbly written, perfectly crafted novel.
