Book Review: "Savage Road" By Chris Hauty

This was one I was excited to read since I first requested an ARC on Netgalley back on October 20th but sadly was declined via Atria/Emily Bestler Books.

Perhaps leaving my stats might help: Over 800k views on my social self help site; 45k followers globally. NetGalley: 5 'Earned Badges' since first active- January 2018; 9 major pub approvals & 90%feedback. Goodreads stats- Top 28 USA Reviewer of All Time, Top 48 Global Reviewer of All Time, 1,214 books read 2020 Goodreads Review Challenge, plus 1,300 reading goals this year having already completed over 120 books to date. Couple this with 3,862 reviews to date on Goodreads alone* as I'm sure you know I post to 5 different sites and I'm not paid per views/clicks like other Amazon Influencers as I don't use Amazon since I don't purchase any items with them* and you'll see that should count for something. I do this while seeking FT Work for the past 10 yrs. after giving up career to raise my three kids for past 20 yrs. including after being homeless, bankrupt, extreme poverty, & LT unemployed from divorce with a Masters I've never used.

LinkedIn also busy: over 5k followers on LinkedIn blogs with All Star status and over 500 connections. Plus another nearly 1k on Twitter/Instagram combined (which I must note I do block all trolls, bots, and other unwanted individuals on all media sites and have deleted all prior connections not related to books or the reading/writing community. I've worked closely with local libraries and have performed numerous discussion groups and blog tours with them. I've acquired many top notch authors like Ba Paris who skyped with us at midnight her time -6pm EST at the Hoyt Library in Kingston Pennsylvania. I've also conducted numerous Reading Promotional Giveaway Baskets to enhance reading across my community.

I'm indeed a former Mitch Rapp Ambassador (several times) and Macmillan Reading Insiders Club (several years in a row) and a member of the John Ryder's blog tour. I've been the first to leave reviews in the USA for CJ Tudor's 2021 The Burning Girls & Lethal Agent by Kyle Mills in 2019 as a first round draft pick. Twelve book tours are scheduled with major publishers this month alone. I've also written articles and blogs for several other crime authors and yes, even the WHO (World Health Organization.)

So on with the show!

I've read both of Chris Hauty's books and they are both top notch work!
In fact upon starting this one up I was thrilled to be able to get a couple via Bibliotheca using Cloud Library through my local library system with an e-copy.
When I downloaded this e-read I possessed 266 Arc's including audio books and put those aside to garnish this beauty.

I'm so glad I did because Chris Hauty is one fantastic writer that I admire immensely with his free flowing ease of the pen it just blends beautifully on paper and even better upon reading online.
Savage Road was quite the explosive with intense action, military precision, and award winning characters that were all about courage, tenacity, and the will to survive.
This combination was hard to ignore but easy to fall in love with as we swept across the scenes into a wonderful wedded bliss.

Speaking of wedding the ebb and flow between Hayley our main character and her father's death really hits home as I'm blessed to still have both my parents and my father served in the Navy in the Cold War.

As such the entire Russian involvement and the cyber warfare involving Cyber Jihad via Rafi Zamani added an entire dimension that wasn't expected but welcomed.

When Hayley Chill ( the gal with the coolest name in the biz) uncovers the truth behind her father's death and learns it involved more than just friendly fire from a missile explosion utilize a Marine Horner jet she went ape shiite crazy and who could blame our strong feminine gal.
After all, "cyber warfare is the great equalizer" and it's no doubt this played a role in several of the decisions made in this newest piece.

While I can't go into specifics what I can tell you is that Hayley was tasked by the 'deeper state' to get things done and track down the source of these cyber attacks against the United States.
With this comes some conspiracy theories that the President is a double agent against the Russians.
Stopping the cyber warfare, steering the President clear, and not allowing WWIII to begin is her goal.

Will she succeed?

This was mind blowing, superbly crafted, and an all encompassing explosive thriller that will have you seeking more of the same from this author.

Thank you Bibliotheca for this e-read as without you this review wouldn't have been able to be produced.
